Health Care Reform Updates: Senate Fails to Pass ACA Repeal Bill

Overnight, the U.S. Senate failed to pass the Health Care Freedom Act, a bill which sought to repeal several requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). While the future of the ACA repeal effort is unclear at this time, pending further developments, all existing ACA requirements remain in effect, including penalties for noncompliance.
