Employee Spotlight: Maggie-Mae Laufman
Our Marketing Director, Maggie-Mae Laufman

What’s a secret talent that no one knows about you? I am a ventriloquist. I can talk with my mouth closed, which is hilarious to hear and watch.
Which four individuals, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? My grandmother Dolores, My Aunt Paige, My great-grandmother Polly, and my great-grandfather Wilfred. I was lucky enough to grow up with all 4 of these beautiful individuals, who truly were the Matriarch and Patriarch’s of my maternal side. A rough few years, and we lost all of them, which has been hard trying to fill their shoes. It would be wonderful to have dinner with all of them together again.
If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Blue, because it’s the prettiest color.
What’s the most helpful way for you to get feedback? Constructive Criticism. I work better when someone tells me when I make mistakes. It’s the only way to learn.
What is your favorite family tradition? This is a tough question. I have an incredibly large family, and to pick one tradition would be impossible. I guess a few of my favorites are walking the dogs to Starbucks Saturday morning in Portland, the Easter Egg Hunt at Lake Billy Chinook every Easter, cutting down our tree in Oregon for the Christmas Holiday, making our family recipe of stuffing and Molasses cookies for Thanksgiving, and my birthday cake of Angelfood every Thanksgiving, since I loathe pies!
Who is your least favorite Superhero? My least favorite superhero would have to be Batman. He doesn’t have any super powers, just gadgets.
What was the best pet you ever had? I have loved all my pets, but right now, my current dog Baylee is probably the best pet that I, myself, have raised. He’s well-behaved and so lovable. He’s a shih-tzu/maltese mix, and is the sweetest animal in the world.
