What’s the last book you read? I am currently reading the Lunar Chronicles, and am on the 3rd book “Cress.” The Lunar Chronicles are essentially post-apocalyptic books based off of Fairy Tales in a semi-cyborg society. It sounds weird, but all of the books were on the New York Times Best Seller list, and they’re acclaimed as the “future” Harry Potter’s.
What are you passionate about? I love cooking and baking, it’s always been a passion for me. I have a food blog, and a large following on my hashtag on Instagram (#MsMaggieMaesHomemade).
What’s your favorite movie? This is a very difficult question. When I am sick, I love John Wayne westerns, when I am sad, I love “The Fault In Our Stars.” But my favorite style of movie, are true story renditions, such as “Act of Valor,” “Hidden Figures,” and “Hacksaw Ridge.” Anything that at the end, you can view the real people whos’ stories are being told.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done? Protested at SeaWorld. I am a huge advocate for the humane rights for Dolphins and Whales, and I boycott all parks that place those animals in containment. I support a lot of natural sanctuaries for these creatures, but SeaWorld is a definite “NO” in my house.
What are you currently watching on Netflix? I am more of an HBO Game of Thrones gal, but my all-time favorite show is Big Brother on CBS. I have been hooked for years, and am essentially a Superfan of the show.\
