Employee Spotlight: Kodee Wilson

Our Administrative Assistant, Kodee Wilson

What’s the last book you read?  “The Next Best Thing” by Jennifer Weiner. It was ok, but not great. A little slow, but overall a decent book. It’s about a girl who moved to LA to pursue her dreams of writing her own television show and the things that the industry requires you to give up to achieve those dreams. Now I am reading “All The Missing Girls” by Megan Miranda. I am not very far into it, but it is really good!

What are you passionate about?  I am passionate about sewing. I love making things from start to finish and adding little details that make a garment whole.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?  I flew to West Virginia, by myself, to meet someone I had only talked to online and go to the Marine Corp. ball with him. I stayed for less than 48 hours and never saw him again.

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?  I would trade places with Blake Lively because she is beautiful, has gorgeous kids, and a sexy husband. She’s also loaded so I’d be able to donate a few million dollars to Kodee Wilson’s checking account before I would have to go back to being me.

Which four individuals, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most?  I’d choose my grandpa on my mom’s side who passed away 4 years ago. I miss him a lot, every day. I would also have dinner with my grandmother on my dad’s side, who I call “meme.” She means a lot to me and no amount of time with her will ever be enough. I’d love to have dinner with Princess Diana because I was fascinated with her life. The last person I would have dinner with is Emma Watson because I would love to have endless discussions with her about serious issues, as well as meaningless issues; and I love an accent.

What is your favorite family tradition?  My dad picked me up from my first day of school every year, even my senior year of high school. When I went to FIDM he even met me for lunch on my first day.

What is the best pet you’ve ever had? I had a Shih-Tzu named “Muffin” growing up who passed away when I was in the 5th grade. She was so sweet and always smelled like the Groomers.
